The Student Broadcast Network or SBN was a company who provided a sustaining service, news and advertising for Student Radio stations in the United Kingdom.
It provided syndicated music based programmes and an hourly news service across the UK via satellite. Stations received money in return for broadcasting SBN's content and advertising. In 2004 SBN was closed by its parent company Campus Media, leaving many student stations with large gaps in their budgets.[1]

- Alison Hulme moved to DAB station Core and Kiss 100. She left radio altogether in 2004 and now runs a dating website.
- Mark Manchester went to ITV and is now a continuity announcer for ITV1.
- Benedict Smith first went to Invicta FM in Kent, then Q103 in Cambridge and now hosts entertainment programme The Saturday Show on the KMFM network.
- Antman went to present breakfast at Mercia FM in Coventry before leaving radio altogether.
- Neil Grayson presented a syndicated show for Global Radio before moving to Channel 4 FM in Dubai. He married, and stayed in the Gulf, where he now works in print media.
- Craig Pilling presented shows on DAB speech based station Oneword and DAB rock station The Storm and then joined Coast 96.3 as Breakfast presenter. From 2006 onwards he presented shows for XFM Manchester and Rock FM. He now works in television.
- Steve Harris and Emma Scrafton both had stints at Kerrang! 105.2 in Birmingham. Steve is now at the BBC; Emma married and became a producer, now producing Frank Skinner for Absolute
- Samanthi presented on XFM London for 3 years, launched Q Radio, presented on BBC2's "Desi DNA" and now hosts The Hub on ITV's "This Morning"
- Jim Coulson presented lates on 96.9 Viking FM in Kingston upon Hull. He took had a spell at Kerrang! 105.2. He married, and after a time presentng weekends at XFM now works as 2BR's breakfast presenter in Burnley.
- Annie Macmanus went to BBC Radio 1 and is now known as 'Annie Mac'.
- Edward Adoo has recently joined NME Radio to present a weekend show, and has appeared on the BBC's 5 Live.
- Phil Smith is at Talksport.
- Soraya Moeng went to work in Print media as a journalist.
- John Handelaar is now based in the Republic of Ireland, although he is also involved with an RSL in Edinburgh called Festival FM.
- Steve Austins went to BBC Wales.
- Duncan Wilson worked briefly at CTR and KMFM Maidstone and is now the Chief Online Editor for Radio Live in New Zealand.
- Lisa Lamb is now based in the USA and is the founder of Sonicsista, a sonic branding agency.
